Seminole County Would Be Cut-Up

Under the final plans of the State Senate committee Sasakwa and the area south of the old U.S. 270 road south of Wewoka and a strip about six miles wide south to the Canadian River, would be added to the Pontotoc-Hughes-Coal county senatorial district.

The rest of Seminole county, except Maud city, would be in the present district of Senator Allen G. Nichols, but would connect by a thin strip of Pott county to Lincoln county south of Prague, then run north abd west to Crescent in the northwest Logan county.
