Local basketball fans will have to do a bit of traveling to see the Seminole county district winners and runner-ups play in the regional tournaments which open Thursday… The immediate Seminole area action will be at Oklahoma Christian College in Oklahoma City… Mrs. J. A. Hamilton reminding Methodist WSCS groups of their Wednesday meetings…
No one was injured in a two-car collision at East Seminole and North Milt Phillips avenue on Saturday, city police reported. Drivers involved were identified as Heyhain Behrouz of Box 291, Seminole, and Luther Morris of Morris Texaco station.
Damage to the Morris car estimated at $200 and to the Behrouz vehicle at $300.

Burglars entered the Seminole Sports Center, 123 North Second, some time Saturday night, Seminole police reported. Entry was gained by breaking out the glass on the front door.
The burglary was discovered by Manager Jesse Steward early Sunday morning.
Steward told police that a case and a half of beer and about a dozen bags of potato chips were all he could find missing. No money was taken.
Den 8 of Cub Scout Pack 439 met at the Ted Phillips home with den mothers, Mrs. Phillips and Mrs. Bob Robertson.
Boys made a table centerpiece for the annual Blue and Gold banquet.
As a climax to the winter season, the den mothers served Valentine refreshments to Kelvin Reese, Troy Newton, Guy Austin and Fred Robertson. The den recessed until next fall with the exception of the banquet and various pack activities in the spring and summer.
