The second semester of the 1970-71 school year at Seminole Junior College will begin Wednesday morning with a full day of classes scheduled, President Elmer Tanner said this morning.

“We will have a special enrollment period tonight at the college for anyone wanting to enroll for the second semester in either the day or evening programs,” Tanner said. “The bookstore also will be open tonight for any students wanting to purchase books.”

Tanner said that the special enrollment period tonight would begin at 5:30 and run until 9 o’clock. Enrollment will take place in the college’s student union, he added.

The junior college president also said that enrollment for both day and night classes had reached 471 at 5 p.m. Monday. “We may not reach the 600 plus we had the first semester but we will be close,” he said. He pointed out that all colleges’ enrollments are slightly less the second semester over the first.
