Bob Robertson and Ted Phillips, two Cub Scout dads, cooked pancakes for the annual Cub Pancake Dinner. Cecil Dollar was surprised by the Producer photographer while he dined with his son Ronnie and Mrs. Dollar. Mrs. Walton Drake ate with her Timmy and Chris Siler.
Members of the Seminole high school and junior high honor roll will be honored at the annual program of Self Culture club Monday, April 5. Nine of the students recording 4.0 grades are Anthony Allen, Andy Bishop, Diana Drake, Paula !hie, Debbie Woods, Marilyn Moran, Ann Parks, Donna Cross and John Randolph.

President Elmer Tanner of Seminole Junior College explained to members of the examining team from the state regents office different policies of Seminole Junior College. A team of four examiners made up of college presidents and other higher education people were at the college Friday looking over Seminole Junior College in order to send a report to the state regents office on the improvements of the local college.
The Oklahoma State Senate unanimously adopted a Senate Resolution commending the citizens of Seminole for passage of the penny sales tax for support and building of the Seminole Community Junior College. Senator Allen G. Nichols of Wewoka submitted the Resolution with a speech telling the state senate how strongly the community of Seminole supports the Junior College.

Seminole Rotarians and all interested citizens of the community will hear about the value of, and the procedures to develop, a local historical society Wednesday noon. George Shirk, former mayor of Oklahoma City, currently president of Oklahoma Historical Society, author of “Oklahoma Place Names'" and one of the state’s outstanding lay historians, will speak at noon Wednesday in Harvest House.
The first nine weeks honor roll for the Spring semester of 1971 at Seminole Junior College was released Friday afternoon by Jim Colclazier, Academic Dean of Seminole Junior College. Two students, both boys, were named to the President’s honor roll and a total of 91 students have been named to the Dean’s honor roll.
