2021 Seminole County Fair Exhibit Results

Organizers were very pleased with the results of the 2021 Seminole County Fair, which ran September 9 – 11. After last year’s low-key event, which was limited to livestock showing only due to COVID-19 precautions, it was especially exciting to celebrate the fair’s 100th Anniversary of the Seminole County Fair as the first large event in the new facility located at 12827 NS 3650 Rd. The new exhibit building was filled with entries from 4-H students as well as the general public, offering everyone an opportunity to show off their talents, whether it was gardening skills, painting, sewing, cooking, or many, many other categories. The results for the exhibitors are:

Autumn Yott – 1st place for skirt blue/white/flowers and string lantern/light inside and 2nd place for quilt pink/ gold/arrow and bag holder/ sewing/blue/white’

Remington Yott – 1st place for orange and blue metal bench.

Greyson Anderson – 1st place for clay snake, western picture, felt bran, bead bracelet, wood car kit, lego ship, dino painting, 4-H sign, and 3rd place for hot peppers. He was also awarded $3.00 for his poultry.

Megan Anderson received a 1st place for kitchen towel, refinished table, egg collecting apron, pajama pants and 2nd place for earrings.

Barbara Jones received a 1st place for plant life.

The Wild Goose OHCE Club received 1st place for reupholstered, child’s dress, shirt, quilt, rug, tea towel, apples, and relish. They received 2nd place for jelly, Christmas decoration, another jelly, and tomatoes. They received 3rd place for plant life.

Ozell Jones received 2nd place for woodwork handmade.

Sally Herrod received 2nd place for still life tomatoes.

Exhibitor 9 received 1st place for needlework, counted cross stich, and hot peppers.

The Semco OHCE Club received 1st place for reupholstered furniture, floral decoration, decorative pillow, educational booth, stewed tomatoes, beets, watermelon jelly, zesty pickle spears, and backpack. They received 2nd for quilt, picture, and hot pepper relish, and 3rd for other than listed.

Marie Overstreet receive first place for quilt machine pieced-quilted.

Stevie Hogue received 1st place for star pattern quilt.

Barret Grissom received 1st place for round pumpkin.

Melissa Robinson received 2nd place for mushrooms and chili sauce.

Mary Richardson received 1st place for knitted scarf.

Jill Crabtree received 1st place for flowering (not violet), non-flowering, beadwork, artwork, and 2nd place for apron.

Chris Anderson received 1st place for cherry tomatoes, scenic, jungle, jungle river, fireworks, flowers, gorilla, pond with flowers, cannon in field, flowers, boy and dog, and 2nd for plants in water and boy in snow.

Johna Logan received 1st place for gourd doll, tooled leather bracelet, gourd Christmas ornaments, gourd birdhouse, gourd jack-o-lantern, crocheted tooth pillow, crocheted scarf, framed Christmas wreath, boy sailing boat, baking powder biscuits, dwarf marigolds, small zinnias, medium zinnias, wood plant stand, 2nd place for horse picture, water running pic, gourd with pine needle coiling, boy on fence pic and 3rd for hay ring picture.

Danny Logan received 1st place for Bermuda hay.

Angel Crunk received 2nd place for tomatoes. She was also awarded $13 for poultry.

Payton Irick received 1st place for sailboat acrylic painting.

Jenna Gladden received 1st place for pears, watermelon oblong, giant zinnias, cherry tomatoes, sweet bell pepper, eye opener arrangement, jalapeno, squash butternut, tomatoes, sweet peppers, winter butternut squash, pears, verbenas, 2nd place for marigold dwarf, hot peppers.

Elizabeth Gamel received 2nd place for kosher canned pickles.

Noah Gamel received 2nd place for painted pot. Noah was also awarded $7.50 for poultry.

Grace Gamel received 2nd place for painted ceramic pot. Grace was also awarded $2.00 for poultry.

Heather Duggan received 3rd place for spicy salsa canned.

Trinity Duggan received 1st place for wolf drawing and cake. Trinity was also awarded $6.00 of poultry.

Alden Bingham received 1st place for battleship drawing.

Tammy Gladden received 2nd place for butternut squash. Tammy was also awarded $14.00 for poultry.

Abbi Scott received 1st place for spool chair, cattle guarding gate, dog on hay ball, best individual photo, native grasses, mixed grasses.

Carlee Owen received 1st place for buffalo head painting and 2nd place for grim reaping doll.

Michael Bingham received 2nd place for buffalo head dot art.

Jenny Bingham received 1st place for deer portrait and lady portrait.

Keigan Hinds received 1st place for other (soap making) and jelly (apple cinnamon).

Marsha Carr received 1st place for box and turtle lamp and 2nd place for okra, honey pot, coin purse, basket, refinishing pots and 3rd place for lamp set and Angie.

Paula Kiker received first place for Lilly and 3rd place for painting acrylic.

Tyler Norman received 2nd place for Bermuda hay.

Alex Jones received 1st place for big bluestem, little bluestem, Indian grass, switch grass, sand love grass, Bermuda, weeping love grass, plains bluestem, 5 ears yellow corn, 5 heads colored sorghum.

Ella Allen received 1st place for the clipping and showing of Dani, making memories with my sister.

Curtis Wilkins received 1st place for okra and giant pumpkin.

Malachi Barrett received 2nd place for art painting, art.

Chase Willis received 3rd place for art.

Jayda Bristow received 3rd place for art painting.

Ariel Duggan was awarded $9.00 for poultry.

Christina Duggan was awarded $6.00 for poultry. Duncan Bennett was awarded $3.00 for poultry and $4.50 for rabbit.

Eliana Foreman received $4.00 for poultry.

Fischer Porterfield received $4.00 for poultry.

Isabella Files received $6.00 for poultry and $2.00 for rabbit.

Kristen Reed received $8.00 for poultry and $6.00 for rabbit.

Presley Porter received $12.50 for poultry.

William Foreman received $3.00 for poultry.
