OBU Campus Life invites all students, faculty, staff and their families to attend the upcoming “RAWC the World Culture Cruise” taking place Thursday, April 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. inside the RAWC. The event celebrates cultural diversity from across the US and around the world.

“RAWC the World” aims to bring the entire campus community together to experience the different cultures from around the globe that are represented at OBU. Attendees should look forward to a time of celebration, food, music, and activities which will help them develop a new appreciation for our diverse world.

The event will feature more than 25 different booths, led by our own students, faculty and staff, with activities at each stop from different cultures. In all, 22 foreign countries will be represented, as well as five different cultural student organizations including the Black Student Union, Native American Student Association, Latin American Student Association, Asian Student Association, and DEAF Club.

Activities include trying cultural foods, dancing, soccer, games, language learning, cultural crafts and more. There will also be fun surprises in connection with the cultural cruise theme of the evening. It will be an incredible time to explore the world together as the OBU family.
