‘Let’s Talk About Downtown’ Friday Morning at City Library
Business owners in Seminole’s downtown district are invited to a townhall-style meeting tomorrow morning to ask questions and share their concerns with city officials.
“Let’s Talk About Downtown” is scheduled for Friday, March 12 at 9 a.m. at the Seminole Public Library. City Manager Steve Saxon and Police Chief Jon Withers will be present at the forum.
During Tuesday evening’s city council meeting, Saxon said the meeting was called at the request of downtown merchants.
“It’s my understanding that they want to discuss security measures, graffiti issues and other things that that are happening,” Saxon said. “We’re going to host that for them and let them air out their concerns and maybe provide some solutions for them, both immediate and long-term.”
All downtown merchants are welcome to attend. The library is located at 424 North Main Street. For more information, call city hall at (405) 382-4330.
