Williams Earns Perfect Score On Petroleum Alliance Scorecard

Posted in:

Rep. Danny Williams, R-Seminole, was one of 27 Oklahoma lawmakers to receive a perfect score on the 2025 Petroleum Alliance Legislative Scorecard.

The annual scorecard evaluates legislators based on their support for legislation backed by The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma, which represents the state’s oil and natural gas industry. Lawmakers begin the session with a score of 100, with deductions made for missed votes or opposition to key measures. A perfect score reflects a legislator’s consistent alignment with policies that support job creation, energy security and economic growth in Oklahoma.

Williams, who represents House District 28, said supporting Oklahoma’s energy industry is critical for the state’s longterm success.

“The oil and gas industry is the backbone of Oklahoma’s economy, and I’m proud to stand with the hardworking men and women who power our state,” Williams said. “It’s an honor to be recognized for defending an industry that provides good jobs, fuels our communities and keeps Oklahoma strong.”

The Petroleum Alliance is the newly formed oil and natural gas trade association created by the merger of the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association and the Oklahoma Oil & Gas Association. It is the only trade association in Oklahoma that represents every segment of the oil and natural gas industry. Find out more at thepetroleumalliance. com.
