SPS Students Head Back to School Today

Posted in:

Students of Seminole Public schools, who have been on extended break this week due to a holiday and inclement weather, will return to classes today, Feb. 21.

Superintendent Dr. Bob Gragg released the following statement yesterday morning: “Seminole Public Schools will return to classes tomorrow, Friday February 21st. Buses will run their regular routes, however we ask parents to keep bus riders inside the house or vehicle until you see the bus or hear the driver honk. Drivers will wait a few minutes as necessary and honk again. This will mean some delays. School will start at the regular bell schedules, with tolerance for unavoidable tardies first hour.

Please remind students to dress for cold temperatures in the morning. The forecasts are expected to see temperatures above freezing for much of the day tomorrow. We hope all of our students and families, along with our school employees and community members have endured this unusually cold and icy winter weather without undue hardships. We look forward to getting back to our regular routines here at school and having your students back to in person learning.”
