The Oklahoma Conservation Commission (OCC) has launched the Invasive Woody Species Cost-Share Program — a new initiative to manage woody invasive species across Oklahoma’s agriculture landscapes.

Approved unanimously by the Commission on Sept. 8, this program aims to provide cost-share to qualifying landowners located within the program boundaries.

The program’s application window will open on Oct. 1, 2025, and applications will close on Dec. 1, 2025. Applicants are expected to implement and maintain the conservation practices in accordance with their woody invasive species conservation plan.

The Land Management Division will review, score, and rank applications, and contact landowners if their applications are approved. This initiative represents a significant step in the ongoing work of Oklahoma’s conservation partnership toward a sustainable agricultural future in Oklahoma.
