CVEC Dispatches Workers to Mississippi
Early Tuesday morning, Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) dispatched a team to Mississippi to assist Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association in restoring power following the winter storm.
CVEC says this action exemplifies one of the core Cooperative Principles, Cooperation Among Cooperatives, demonstrating how electric cooperatives support one another in times of need.
“Our team is committed to helping get the lights back on for Tallahatchie Valley Electric’s members as quickly and safely as possible,” said Josh Holt, Interim CEO and Chief Operating Officer at CVEC. “This commitment to mutual support embodies our cooperative values, demonstrating how we come together to assist our fellow cooperatives in times of need.”
CVEC’s team is equipped with the necessary resources and expertise to assist in the restoration efforts. They will work alongside Tallahatchie Valley Electric’s crew and others to ensure that power (Continued from Page 1) is restored safely and efficiently.
