City Council, Related Authorities Slated to Meet Tuesday at Library

The Seminole City Council and its related authorities will convene for regular meetings Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Goldie Barnett Conference Room of the public library.

Meetings of the Municipal, Airport and Medical Authorities will precede the council meeting. Agenda items are listed below.

Airport Authority - Consideration and possible action to approve Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $98,948.59 from Calm Construction for EDA Award # ED24AUS0G0174.

Municipal Authority - Consideration and possible action to approve Crossland Heavy Contractors Invoice #15 and draw funds in the amount of $623,021.12 for work completed at the Seminole Wastewater Treatment Plant.

- Consideration, discussion and possible action to enter into executive session under Oklahoma Statute 25 O.S. § 307(B) (4), confidential communications between a public body and its attorney concerning a pending investigation, claim or action.

Medical Authority - Consideration and possible action to approve the easement between the Seminole Medical Authority and HC Investments LLC.

City Council - Consideration of approvals of new Seminole Housing Authority board members Stephanie Johnson- Resident Commissioner and Chris Carrell that were tabled at last month’s city council meeting.

- Consideration and possible action to approve the state bid price of $15,000 of firefighting equipment, a budgeted capital improvement project for FY2025-26.

- Consideration and possible action to approve the low bid of $47,512.00 from H&H Alarm for the installation of a fire alarm system for the Emergency Services facility on Harvey Road, a budgeted capital improvement project for FY2025-26.

- Consideration and possible action to approve the contract with Oklahoma Municipal Management Services to provide building construction inspection services for the City of Seminole.

- Consideration and possible action to approve dedicating $10,000 to a mural initiative project of the Seminole Arts Council, an initiative that was tabled for consideration at last month’s city council meeting.

- Consideration, discussion and possible action to enter into executive session under Oklahoma Statute 25 O.S. § 307(B) (4), confidential communications between a public body and its attorney concerning a pending investigation, claim or action.

All meetings are open to the public pursuant to the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act.
