City Council, Related Authorities to Convene Tonight
The Seminole City Council and its related authorities will convene for their regular monthly meetings this evening at the Seminole Public Library.

Seminole Utilities Authority - Update regarding progress on constructing the Family Entertainment Center.
- Consideration and possible action to accept the bid of $204,855.00 from Matthews Trenching, as presented by Miller Tippens Construction, for materials and installation of water lines, sewer lines and manholes for the Family Entertainment Center.
Municipal Authority - Consideration and possible action to approve Wall Engineering Invoice #22 and draw funds in the amount of $22,986.85 for work completed at the Seminole Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Consideration, discussion and possible action to enter into executive session under Oklahoma Statute 25 O.S. § 307(B) (4), confidential communications between a public body and its attorney concerning a pending investigation, claim or action.
City Council - Consideration and possible action to surplus an inoperable 2014 Chevy Tahoe at the Police Department.
- Consideration and possible action to accept the low bid of $7,875.00 from Cougar King Epoxy to apply epoxy coating to the front lobby flooring of the animal control shelter, a budgeted CIP item.
- Consideration and possible action to accept the state bid price of $49,420.00 from John Vance Country Ford for a 2025 F-150 Crew Cab truck for the Police Department, a budgeted CIP item.
- Consideration and possible action to accept the low bid of $14,274.32 from Mission Critical Uplift to equip the new Ford truck at the Police Department, a budgeted CIP item.
- Consideration and possible action to accept the low quote of $8,120.00 from Redline Fire Equipment & Supply for a CM bed and bumper for the Fire Department, to be funded by a grant from Oklahoma Forestry Services.
- Consideration and possible action to approve Resolution No. 2025-10, a Resolution setting the filing period and election dates for municipal official elections in 2026.
- Consideration and possible action to approve Resolution No. 2025-11, a Resolution concerning bridge inspection responsibility by local government for compliance with national bridge inspection standards.
- Consideration and possible action to approve Ordinance No. 1309, an Ordinance rezoning certain property from R-2, Two Family Dwelling, to C-1, Neighborhood Commercial.
- Consideration and possible action to approve Ordinance No. 1310, an Ordinance rezoning certain property from A-1, Agriculture, to C-3, Commercial.
- Consideration and possible action to approve accepting grant No. OHSO-FFY2026-SEMINOLE CI- 00162 from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office in the amount of $17,420.00 to fund officers’ overtime for traffic enforcement, in-state travel for training courses and safety summits.
- Consideration and discussion with possible action to purchase solar powered, pole-mounted Christmas decorations for North Milt Phillips Avenue from a sole source vendor, Easy Treezy, at a cost of $10,068 for three (3), 5-foot and three (3), 7-foot decorations with timers and remotes.
- Consideration and possible action to approve closing Keith Marshall Lane for the Boomtown Playground Dedication on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
- Consideration and possible action to allow the placement of a memorial plaque on the center concession stand area at the Softball Quad in memory of Maurice Spenser (Bolo) who was a lifelong softball supporter.
- Discussion, action and presentation on code enforcement solutions.
- Consideration, discussion and possible action to enter into executive session under Oklahoma Statute 25 O.S. § 307(B) (4), confidential communications between a public body and its attorney concerning a pending investigation, claim or action.
