Aviation Company Helps Spread Christmas Cheer
The Seminole Municipal Airport has joined an initiative to bring cheer to children across central Oklahoma by making sure they have a toy to unwrap Christmas morning.
The Aviator Adventurer’s Toy Drive 2025 began Nov. 23 and will continue through Dec. 23., and Taylor Aviation, the Fixed Base Operator at the Seminole airport, is encouraging local residents to be a part of this year’s drive.
“We need your help to make Seminole Airport the leading contributor to this toy drive in 2025,” Taylor Aviation posted Sunday to its social media page. “We gave the most last year and would love to continue that trend.”
Here’s how you can be a part of the effort. Simply select a toy (a new, unwrapped toy suitable for children aged 0-12) and drop it off at the Seminole Municipal Airport. Those behind the effort say educational toys, puzzles, board games, and sports equipment are especially appreciated. You can also help by spreading the word with family and friends so more children are reached.
The drive is sponsored by Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1708, which is headquartered in Washington, Oklahoma. Other drop off locations include Feed Store & Trek Coffee (Washington), Goldsby Tag Agency, Great Plains Kubota (Norman), P&K Equipment (John Deere, Hwy 9), Pryors Pizza (Selah-Norman), Fuson Tag Agency (Norman) and First United Bank in Moore.
