Chieftains Prepare to Take on Perkins for Senior Night

The next edition of Friday night lights in Seminole will see the Chieftains host the Perkins-Tryon Demons on October 10th. After the OSSAA ruling of an ineligible player participating against Bristow last week, that 28-24 Chieftain won has since been forfeited.

Bowlegs Win Homecoming Game Against Graham

The Bowlegs Bison hosted the Graham-Dustin Chieftains Friday night for their homecoming game. Bowlegs selected Gracie Taylor as their Queen and Camden Morgan as their King. The Bison came out firing in the first quarter with a 28-yard touchdown pass to Colby Smith from Cylas Mack.

Sasakwa Vikings Win on the Road at Maud Thursday

The Maud Tigers hosted the Sasakwa Vikings for a Thursday night football game. Things didn’t go the Tigers way as the Vikings controlled the game and won on the road. The first quarter was a slug-fest as both teams went back and forth on offense.

OU Sooners Shut Out Kent State in Non-Conference Finale

NORMAN (AP) — Oklahoma backup Michael Hawkins Jr. passed for three touchdowns and ran for another, and the fifth-ranked Sooners rolled past Kent State 44-0 on Saturday. Hawkins led the Sooners (5-0) to points on their first five possessions.
