Denise Geist and Suzie O’Neal traveled to Surprise, Arizona last month to compete in the USTA League National Championship. The duo, both from Seminole, competed against some of the best players in the country and came away with a top three finish. Geist went 2-0 in the tournament and O’Neal went 2-1.Geist said the pair has been pursuing the goal of playing in the nationals for seven years. She added the duo’s next goal is to make it to Nationals on a women’s team so that they can play doubles together in the future. —Courtesy Photo
