(USACE Lake Level) White bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, and jigs around channels, main lake, and river mouth. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits, plastic baits, and spinnerbaits around brush structure, main lake, and shorelines. Crappie good on minnows and tube jigs around brush structure and docks. Comments: Lots of debris has been washed into the lake from the recent heavy rains. Boaters should be cautious as they navigate the lake and be mindful of hidden debris under the surface. The white bass activity is starting to pick up with anglers beginning to have some success around the Cherokee Landing and Highway 82 Bridge areas. ENID, OKLA – Having played their third game in four days against tough, physical opponents, the Fire struggled to put the ball in the basket and suffered their first loss of the season, losing 91-86 at in-state rival Enid. A combination of tired legs and the tough Enid Outlaw defense held the Fire to 37% shooting from the field. The 86 points by the Fire were their lowest output of the season and well off their 120 points per game season average through the first six games.
