Fire Stay Undefeated With Big Win Over CYM

For the third straight game, the Potawatomi Fire scored at least 140 points as they beat the CYM Leopards 145-105 on Saturday night. The win was the Fire’s 57th straight win inside Fire-Lake Arena. “When we were focused, I thought we played pretty well,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff.

Seminole State Wins Series Over Rose State College

The Seminole State Trojans hosted the Rose State Raiders Saturday in a baseball double header and swept the 3-game series. On Thursday the 26th, the Trojans traveled to Midwest City for the first game of the series at Rose State College.

Varnum Stays Undefeated with Shutout Win Over Sasakwa

The undefeated Varnum Whippet hosted the (5-5) Sasakwa Vikings Monday afternoon in a lopsided matchup that ended in a shutout. The visiting Vikings went to bat first but came up empty with zero runs at the top of the first.

Varnum Wins on the Road at Strother Friday

The Varnum Whippets traveled to Yellowjacket territory Friday to take on Strother in some baseball action. Friday was a day that started out nice but got colder as the day went on. By game time, the temperature was approximately 60 degrees and dropping plus there was the wind.

Seminole Lose Home Game Against Cleveland Tigers Friday

The Seminole Chieftains hosted the Cleveland Tigers Friday on a very cold and windy evening on the baseball diamond at the Lloyd Simmons baseball field. The visiting Tigers went to bat first and jumped out to an early lead with three runs scored.
