Friday Night was a test for the Seminole Chieftains because they were playing without six of their starters. The Chieftains had suffered injuries from multiple players in the past week and things looked grim for the Checotah game, but Seminole came to play and persevered through the storm and came out victorious over the Wildcats. The Seminole Chieftains took the early lead in the first with two scores, running back Jason Batise scored on a 61-yard run for the first score and wide receiver Landon Bowling scored on a 35-yard pass and catch play to go up 12-7 in the first.
