THURSDAY, JULY 31, 2025 DEAR ABBY: My son is 20 and a senior in college. He’s a baseball player and is about to ask the girl he’s been dating for a year and a half to marry him. My wife and I don’t get along with her at all.

TUESDAY, JULY 29, 2025 DEAR ABBY: My husband has four grown children -- one from his first marriage; three with his late wife. Talk about drama! Who talks to whom? Who can’t stand whom? Who gets annoyed when one of them comes to visit us?

SUNDAY, JULY 27, 2025 DEAR ABBY: My husband and I love our 7- and 2-year-old grandchildren very much and enjoy spending time with them. The issue is, we feel we are being taken advantage of. Our daughter and her husband are still married but lead separate lives.

Though answered in part, the question from last week remains: “Is Christianity a copycat religion?” It is an essential question that critics of Christianity often ask, and rightly so.

Shaun’s main goal in life is to never make a mistake. In fact, he will bend over backward in every area of his life to make certain that never happens. The FEAR OF PUNISHMENT from childhood is so engrained into him that allowing even one mistake in his world cannot be tolerated.

So far this year only, I’ve gone to 9 funerals of friends—most in the last few months. That’s overwhelming for me. It’s like mortality is shaking its finger at me. In the past few years, I’ve said it, as well as you, probably, that you check the newspaper obits first just to see if you are included.

FRIDAY, JULY 25, 2025 DEAR ABBY: My daughter has been married to her high school sweetheart for 15 years. Their marriage has been rocky from the start due to her husband’s “God” complex. He’s a spoiled brat and a compulsive liar.

TUESDAY, JULY 22, 2025 DEAR ABBY: After six years of working closely together, I have developed a raging crush on my co-worker and project partner, “Brett.” It’s a full-on, face-flushing, daydreaming kind of situation, and it’s super annoying.

SUNDAY, JULY 20, 2025 DEAR ABBY: When my daughter, “Trish,” and her husband separated, I reached out to each of them for occasional checkins. Trish left him after confessing to infidelity via email.
