Carole Ruth Morgan, Seminole resident, passed away in Shawnee, Oklahoma on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the age of 78. Ruth was born on June 24, 1943 in Okemah, Oklahoma to E.D. “Wiley” Clark and Georgia Thelma (Jacobs) Clark. She grew up in Okemah and moved to Seminole in 1969. Ruth married Jim Morgan on June 27, 1959 in Okemah and enjoyed almost 63 years with her beloved husband. Before her retirement, she was the office manager and co-owner of Tiger Trucks, Inc. in Seminole alongside her husband, running the family owned business with their sons.

Terry was born July 27, 1952 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Billy Ray “Bill” Weems and Connie Lou (Conner) Weems. Terry attended Wilson Elementary and Seminole High School where she graduated in 1970. Terry furthered her education at Seminole Junior College and graduated in 1972 with an associate’s degree and entered the education program at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma where she graduated and received her Master of Education in 1974. Terry began her teaching career in the fall of 1974 teaching 7th grade at Shawnee Middle School in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and in the Fall of 1975, she began her career at Wilson Elementary School in Seminole teaching 2nd Grade for 46 years, she retired from Seminole Public Schools in 2021. She had taught many children and their children over the years and her love for her students and the impact she made on their lives, continues today. Terry was a longtime member of the Seminole Church of Christ. Terry was also co-owner with her husband in Swearingen Funeral Home. She played a major part in the creation and decorating of their new funeral home facility and helped with day to day operations.
