Read moreA grand jury has indicted one Oklahoman and three men from Florida for operating skimming devices in central Oklahoma, including Seminole County, that bilked trucking companies and gasoline consumers out of thousands of dollars. According to a press release from Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s office, the grand jury issued indictments Thursday against Reidel Valdes Montero, Jael Diaz-Morejon, Sergio Burrola Moreno and Jose Carlos Rizo. Moreno is from Oklahoma City and the others are Floridians.

In an effort to replenish the shelves at the Seminole Food Bank, Volunteers with Interfaith Social Ministries will be distributing empty bags to residences across Seminole on Saturday, November 4. These bags will be hung on doorknobs or other locations where they will be easy for the resident to find. They are asking those that are able to please fill these bags with non-perishable food items. The volunteers will then return to pick up filled bags a week later, on November 11. Suggested items include canned vegetables, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti and sauce, soup, mac ‘n’ cheese, or anything you would like to receive if you needed food.
