Read moreWhile planning an upcoming family get-together at a campsite-lodge area located on the Osage Indian Reservation, I observed an open field with a number of strange looking basket type affairs. They were made with small chains mounted on metal pipes, standing about three feet high. Later, I learned that these were constructed for a game called “Disc Golf”. Trying to imagine how to throw a frisbee to make it land in the basket from a short distance would be quite an accomplishment.
