The Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) announced last Thursday that they have approved $1,450,913 in funding for the Wewoka Public Works Authority to be used to improve the Authority’s wastewater infrastructure. The first request of $450,913 will be funded through the Sewer Overflow and Stormwater Reuse Municipal Grant (OSG) program, the announcement stated. The second request for $1,000,000 will be financed by the Oklahoma American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program, it added.
