A former area resident was one of the three U.S. Marine Corp members that were found dead in North Carolina on Sunday morning. Merax Cade Dockery, 23, was a 2019 graduate of Seminole High School. The other two Marines were Tanner J. Kaltenberg, 19, of Madison, Wisconsin, and Ivan R. Garcia, 23, of Naples, Florida.

The exhibition will be on view at the Woody Guthrie Center beginning Oct. 11, 2023.
