Hispanic cuisine is beloved the world over, and much of that infatuation can be traced to Mexico. Mexican cuisine is flavorful and can be enjoyed any time of year. But even ardent Mexican cuisine enthusiasts may never have tried authentic Mexican food. Many Mexican restaurants outside of Mexico offer only a hybrid form of this beloved cuisine that, while delicious, does not reflect traditional Mexican recipes.

Read moreCanadian Valley Electric Cooperative introduced the winners of their 2020 Youth Tour Contest. The contestants had to submit an application and an essay over a given subject. They had an excellent pool of candidates in this growing program. This year’s winners are Dali-Anne Owens of The Academy of Seminole & Kamryn Brewer of Varnum High School. The winners will be traveling to Washington D.C. with 70 other Oklahoma High School Juniors representing CVEC and gaining a lifetime of memories, education, and experiences.
