Voters in Seminole County who want to have absentee ballots mailed to them for the April 7 Seminole County Question, Seminole and Wewoka School Board Seat #5 Elections should apply now, County Election Board Secretary Amy Baker said Tuesday. Although the County Election Board can accept applications for absentee ballots until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, Baker urged voters who want to vote by absentee ballot to apply early.

The officer matches the fleeing driver’s speed, gently touches (not rams) the other vehicle, and then makes a quick quarter turn of the wheel toward it. The Other car then spins out safely to a stop. This allows an officer to conclude the pursuit, and follow policy to his next steps. This is just one of many features the SPD vehicles are equipped with to ensure our safety.
