Keith Mooney is retiring as the Assistant Park Supervisor from City of Seminole. He has worked for the City for 14 years. Mooney was born in Seminole and loves the people here. He said he has made great friendships with people in the community and his coworkers. As he looks around town, Mooney remembers all the projects he has worked – Boomtown, Softball Quad, Equestrian Campgrounds, Skatepark, Sportsman Lake Playground, Snowman Wonderland, and John’s Park are just a few that were mentioned. When asked what his favorite project was, Mooney quickly recalls Boomtown, “People are amazed when they learn that Boomtown only took a week to build. The community came together to make something happen to put smiles on kid’s faces.” Public Works Director Bryant Baker said, “Keith has been an integral and valuable employee for the City of Seminole. We are excited for his retirement and understand it will be hard to replace an employee like Keith. I want to congratulate Keith on his retirement and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
