On September 8-11, the Academy of Seminole held their first ever book fair hosted by the PTO. Prior to the book fair, the Academy of Seminole school board member Dillon Robinson was able to secure enough funds from local donors that every student received a free book. This allowed students that would not have been able to purchase a book attend the fair and have the same experience as their classmates searching books and picking just the right one. Many students also chose to donate their free book to teachers to help build their classroom libraries.
