OKC Zoo Announces Temporary Closure

Effective Saturday, March 14, the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden will be closed to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The zoo tentatively plans to reopen to the public on Monday, March 23.

Inmate Visitation to Cease Across State Prisons

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC) is canceling all visitation and all volunteer access to facilities effective at 6 p.m. Friday, March 13. This decision is necessary to keep staff, inmates and volunteers safe from the spread of COVID-19 inside a facility.
