Oklahoma Revenues See Tax Season High in April

State Treasurer Todd Russ released the April 2026 State Tax Revenue Report, showing total monthly revenue of $2.5 billion, a 23.2% increase from April 2025. Revenues also rose 76.1% from March, driven by strong gains in income and sales tax collections.

The Okfuskee County Sheriff is stepping down, citing an incident that led to a population surge at the Seminole County Jail. Sheriff Logan Manshack submitted his resignation earlier this week , which will go into effect tomorrow.
