DUI Victims’ Impact Panel Bill Signed by Governor

OKLAHOMA CITY – The governor on Tuesday signed into law a bill that strengthens the role of victims’ impact panels in helping to stop driving under the influence (DUI) offenses in Oklahoma and will help reduce the number of repeat offenders.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) has issued the following situation update about coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Oklahoma: As of this advisory, there are 5,398 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma. There are 288 total deaths in the state.

OKLAHOMA CITY – State Sen. Rob Standridge, R-Norman, applauded House passage of Senate Bill 1046 on Friday, just two days after the Senate approved the measure as a part of the launch of SoonerCare 2.0 on July 1. The measure has now been sent to the governor and awaits his signature.
