Sportsman Lake Fully Reopens for Memorial Day Weekend

Sportsman Lake is now fully open with no restrictions, just in time for Memorial Day weekend. The City of Seminole announced that as of Friday, May 22, the entire lake was opened to the public. Facilities that were reopened include camping grounds, swimming areas and public bathrooms.

City of Seminole Garage Sale Permits Now Available

The City of Seminole began issuing garage sale permits last week. Permit issuance had previously been suspended due to restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic. Garage sale permits are $5 each when purchased before the sale from the Water Department.
