Garden Crop Rotation Simplified

One of the biggest obstacles for gardeners is crop rotation. This sounds like a simple task, but when you take into account which plants are companion plants, what type of soil each needs, and try to work those into crop rotation, well it gets a little confusing.

Council Approves Inmate Detention Agreement

The Seminole City Council has approved a new inmate detention agreement with the county jail. The jail recently upped the city’s inmate incarceration fee from $32.68 per day to $67.54 per day, an increase of nearly 107 percent.

Lawmakers Request $10M For Tribal Litigations

Oklahoma lawmakers have proposed a plan which will create a $10 million legal fund allocated for the state to hire private attorneys to litigate the legal controversies which have recently arisen between the state and tribal governments.

The Academy of Seminole (TAOS), one of only two Oklahoma public charter schools offering an Early-College High School curriculum, celebrated a milestone Monday evening -- graduating its inaugural class of seniors.
