Lt. Governor Featured Speaker at Chamber Forum

Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell will be the guest speaker at the Seminole Chamber of Commerce monthly forum meeting on Thursday, July 8. The forum luncheon will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the Haney Center at Seminole State College.

Shooting Fireworks Not Allowed Within Seminole City Limits

Independence Day is typically observed by shooting off firecrackers, mortars, roman candles and other ariel displays, but they’re not allowed everywhere. The City of Seminole is reminding citizens that is illegal to shoot fireworks in the city limits — which includes Sportsman Lake.
