Read moreA Bald Eagle was returned to the wild on Monday, December 13. The magnificent bird was found injured near Wewoka and spent a month in rehabilitation at the Grey Snow Eagle House in Perkins, Oklahoma. There was a small group of area residents present to witness the birds release, awestruck as the majestic black bird with a brilliant white tail and head sprung from its cage and quickly rose into the cloudless sky.

An injured Bald Eagle that was found near Wewoka spent the past month in rehab at the Grey Snow Eagle House near Perkins. The eagle was released in the same pasture it was found on Monday.
