Read moreIt was an extremely busy week as we wrapped up committee work on House bills that were approved in their chamber and sent to us for another look. We had about 370 pieces of legislation to review and further approved around 280. I am the Senate author of 19 House bills, and all 19 passed by committee. Ten House bills I’m carrying in the Senate were heard and passed by my colleagues this past week.

Members met at Neill Craig’s office in Seminole recently for a “Pajama Party” and breakfast. Attendees were able to see a live demonstration of Pampered Chef products and sample amazing breakfast recipes hosted by our own Christina Mack. Proceeds from this party will be donated to the Seminole Chapter of ESA. In addition to sampling delicious freshly prepared breakfast items, members found time to pause and reflect on the many ‘special days of “April presented by Susan gates.

The students received a tour of the SSC campus upon completion of the competition by SSC Recruiter, Caitlin Brown.
