Average gasoline prices in Oklahoma have fallen 8.0 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.51/g Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,294 stations in Oklahoma. Prices in Oklahoma are 43.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.71/g higher than a year ago. The price of diesel has risen 2.6 cents nationally in the past week and stands at $5.80 per gallon.

Zia arrived at the OKC Zoo from the Philadelphia Zoo in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Zia can be seen in the Zoo’s Cat Forest and is viewable on a rotational habitat schedule with male jaguar, Tai and male Sumatran tiger, Ramah. Depending on the day, guests will have an opportunity to see one of these big cats. The recommendation for Zia to be relocated to the OKC Zoo came from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan® (SSP) for jaguars. AZA’s SSP programs are cooperatively managed programs to oversee species populations within AZA accredited zoos and aquariums.
