A large number of friends, neighbors, family members, associates, and long-time admirers stopped by the Jasmine Moran Children’s Museum on Wednesday for a come-and-go reception in honor of Marci Donaho. This upbeat party celebrated the major contributions Donaho has made to the success of the children’s museum, one of the crowning jewels of the Seminole community. There were many happy memories shared as the crowd told their favorite stories about Donaho and the museum as they enjoyed refreshments and fellowship during the reception.

As reported in our July 7 edition, Hillcrest Apartments went several days without a trash dumpster, but new dumpsters have since been delivered to the complex. “We are in a transition phase with Central Disposal and we appreciate everyone’s patience,” said Seminole Public Works Director Bryant Baker. “Thus far, Central has been very quick to respond and take care of complaints in 24 hours or less.” (Staff photo by Bob Melton).
