The Boomer Seminole Duplicate Bridge group met Tuesday, February 28th. There were three tables in play. The winners were: First Place- Vivian Thompson, Ada and LaVere Bishop, Seminole.

Things in the Capitol have been turbo- charged with no respite as we wrapped up the first portion of this session. We successfully considered around 550 bills in our Senate committees and have already sent more than 100 of those on to the House.

In addition to attending meetings for the committees I sit on, I passed two of my own bills out of their committees this week.
Read moreThe past several weeks I have talked about the projects that Seminole Schools been involved in this school year. We continue to work very hard to make Seminole Schools your school of choice. The administration and school board continues to move forward with constructing new facilities and maintaining our facilities to a very high degree. The taxpayers of this community have done an outstanding job of supporting Seminole schools, supporting bond issues and now also encouraging the use of federal funds for construction purposes.
