Since its inception in 1992, Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship program has awarded college tuition scholarships to more than 100,000 students. To be eligible, students must apply during the eighth, ninth, tenth or 11th grade, and their family’s annual income must not exceed $60,000 when they apply.
