The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Carl Lloyd True, age 56, of Wetumka, Oklahoma, was sentenced on June 16, 2023, for firearm offenses. True was sentenced to sixteen months in prison for one count of Making a False Statement During the Acquisition of a Firearm and sixteen months for one count of being a Prohibited Person Receiving and Possessing Firearms and Ammunition. The sentences will run concurrently.
