Zoey Fisher and Makyiah Maples were selected by their teachers for February Student of the Month. Zoey Fisher is the daughter of Chayne and Tracy Fisher. While at Northwood she was on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and served as Student Council President.

Storm Spotter Training at Haney Center Tonight at 6:30

Anyone interested in being a storm spotter for the Seminole area is invited to attend a free training session this evening (Thursday, Feb. 16). The session will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Enoch Kelly Haney Center on the campuses of Seminole State College.

Griffin Wins Third Term as Mayor of Seminole

Jeff Griffin has been elected to a third term as mayor of Seminole. In an election held Tuesday, Feb. 14, Griffin captured 220 of the 257 votes cast, while his challenger, Stephanie Davis, received only votes.
