Green Pens Bill to Bolster Law Enforcement in Small Towns

A measure to improve public safety in small Oklahoma towns passed unanimously out of the Senate Appropriations Committee Wednesday. Sen. Grant Green, R-Wellston, authored Senate Bill 1095 to allow retired law enforcement members to be employed full-time in small towns.

Construction Begins on MAPS 3 And 4 OKC Fairgrounds

City leaders broke ground Thursday on the MAPS 3 and 4 OKC Fairgrounds Coliseum. The 216,164-square-foot coliseum will be operated by Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. at the OKC Fairgrounds. Construction is scheduled to be complete in 2025.
