The cash awards were funded by Robert A. Funk, Sr., president of Express Employment Professionals, who donated $27,500 among four categories: OkACTE Teacher of the Year – $10,000 awarded to Jonathan Walden, agriculture teacher at Hinton High School OkACTE Postsecondary Professional of the Year – $7,500 awarded to Jona Kay Squires, business and industry services agriculture manager at Mid-America Technology Center OkACTE New Teacher of the Year - $5,000 awarded to Wyatt Gerth, creative marketing education educator at Tri County Technology Center OkACTE Support Staff Member of the Year $5,000 awarded to Amber Sutton, marketing graphic designer at Autry Technology Center OkACTE Bob Funk Advocate of Excellence Randy Gilbert, vice president and operations manager at Gilbert & Sons Trucking Co.
