Roger Sherman Carter, born January 5, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away May 11, 2026. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Willie Bob Carter and Elfreeda LaRue Carter and by his sisters, Debra Carter-Reedand Wyleda “Kaye” Carter.

Roger is survived by his cousin Ida Rowland-Eubanks of Kansas, h, Wilma Carter of the home, eight siblings, Willie Bob, Jr. of Oklahoma, Irvin Keith of Oklahoma, Rebecca Jean of Oklahoma, Iva Ruth of Oklahoma, Ethel Louise of Oklahoma, Dolores Jacqueline (Charles) of North Carolina, LaDonna June (Herman) of Oklahoma, and Roberta Denise (Terry) of Oklahoma, twenty-five nieces and nephews, a host of grandnieces and grandnephews, and other close friends and relatives.

Service will be held at the auditorium at New Lima School on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 11 a.m.
