Special Olympics Oklahoma Seeks Volunteers For 2026 Summer Games
Special Olympics Oklahoma (SOOK) is calling on the community to step up and be part of something bigger, as more than 1,600 volunteers are still needed for the 2026 Summer Games, taking place May 13–15 in Stillwater.
Recognized as the largest Special Olympics event in North America, Summer Games will bring together more than 5,300 participants, Unified partners, coaches, and volunteers from across the state for three days of competition, celebration, and inclusion.
Volunteers play a critical role in making the event possible — from assisting with competitions and handing out awards to helping with logistics, athlete support, and event operations.
