The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is investigating a shooting involving two teenagers in Wewoka over the weekend.

According to press release, the Wewoka Police Department requested the assistance of the OSBI in investigating a shooting early Sunday morning, April 26.

At approximately 5 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of Hitchite Avenue in Wewoka regarding an individual who had been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with a 17-year-old male, who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound.
