The Academy of Seminole (TAOS) was shaken by a bomb threat Tuesday, and school officials say a suspect has been identified.

Tuesday afternoon, Head of School Tammy Potter released a statement to parents and guardians of students, informing them of the incident.

“I am writing to inform you of a situation that we are currently addressing at the Academy of Seminole. A bomb threat was received via email by one of our students. We take any threat to the safety of our school community very seriously. We are actively working in coordination with local law enforcement to investigate the situation,” Potter wrote.
