WEWOKA- Seminole County Assessor Paul Mathews was named in an accusation returned by a grand jury here this morning seeking to remove him from office for “willful maladministration.”

The grand jury also issued five indictments against Mathews accusing him of signing false travel claims.

Jurors in the accusation also seek to have the county assessor suspended from office pending trial on the indictments and accusation.
